Where Does this Film Rank?
The film is seen by many including myself as the greatest movie of all time. From the acting to the writing, the film is perfect in every way. It is the most memorable film of all time because of its importance to the art of film making. The film defined movie making in the 70's because of its style, and it is considered the holy grail of film.
Memorable Lines:
"Im gonna make him an offer he can't refuse"
"Leave the gun, take the cannoli"
"It means Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes"
Why does this Film Appeal to Teenagers
While it is a long and complex film, the story of the Godfather is one that can intrigue just about anybody in the right mind. Any teen willing to dedicate the time to closely paying attention to the Godfather will not be disappointed. The film gives a good idea of what 1940's mob life was like, and I think anyone would agree that the world of crime is fascinating because it's hard to believe this actually happened/happens.
