What Makes Scarface So Great?
As a film that captures the culture, attitude, and context of a very unique time period and place, Scarface shows just how dangerous the Cuban drug world was in South Florida. With one of the most memorable performances by the great Al Pacino, the historic character Tony Montana has become an icon in pop culture. Scarface will take an audience through a 3 hour journey of Tony Montana's dangerous and complicated drug empire.
Why Does It Appeal To Teens?
Aside from being an all around great film, Scarface is a movie that a teen will find interesting and most of all cool. Tony Montana will capture the mind of a teen and make the watching experience very real. For me, Scarface was interesting because of its consistent action and plot-twists. Tony Montana's journey is one worth watching for anybody whether you love movies or not.
Where Does This Film Rank All-time
Appearing on the IMDB top 250, Scarface is constantly being recognized as a historic and gracious film. Although it was never nominated for an Oscar, Scarface is the type of classic that will always hold up. Its influence on pop culture is not undersold as it has seemed to make its way to being a household name.
