Marathon Man stands the test of time as a film through its amazing action sequences and thrilling events. A great performance by Dustin Hoffman, Marathon Man leaves the audience as on edge. With the inclusion of historical elements, Marathon Man makes an audience question the realities of the world.
Why Would A Teen Enjoy?
Although it is over 45 years old, Marathon Man's action can grasp the attention of just about anybody. With a more favorable runtime than some of the other classics, the film spends minimal time dragging out a plot and character development, and quickly dives into the amazing action and intense scenes that make the movie great.
Where Does This Film Rank?
Different from some of the other classics, Marathon Man was a more subtle movie. It didn't quite get the recognition that many of the other historic films did. However, that does not discount from the fact that the film is tremendous, and holds up well. It was nominated for only 1 Oscar, but that doesn't take away from the beauty of the performances in the movie.
