Where Does This Film Rank
Amongst Tarantino films, Inglorious Basterds is usually recognized towards the top. In my opinion, it is number 1 even above Pulp Fiction. With a real life historical story, Tarantino puts a spin on WW2 that can capture the interest of just about anyone. The film was nominated for 8 oscars and won the Oscar of Best Supporting actor for Christoph Waltz' brilliant performance as the German villain Hans Landa.
Why Does It Appeal To Teenagers?
While it is very long in runtime, each minute of the movie is filmed with action and excitement. The film makes it easy for any teen to enjoy, because it gives off a false reality that can draw the interest of just about any teenager. You don't have to be a film enthusiast to enjoy this film because of the film's gut-wrenching and smartly done scenes. With great camera work and direction each scene makes the audience feel on edge and drawn to the situations.
