What Makes Fight Club So Great?
Fight Club is able to stand the test of time as its uniqueness and surprises can go toe to toe with almost any movie. In a year that had many great movies hit the theaters (1999), Fight Club still stands out as the best of the bunch. This unique and crazy story draws the interest of just about anybody. Although the title makes it sound like a simple film, the movie goes much deeper.
Why Does it appeal to Teenagers?
Like many other great movies, Fight Club is longer in runtime. However it is an adventure that will not waste any of your time. Its slow but important build up leads to some of the greatest surprises in the history of film. Any teenager will walk away from Fight Club feeling confused but satisfied in the best of ways. Also, the violent and gruesome fight scenes will have teens on the edge of their seats, and their eyes glued to the screen.
Where Does This Film Rank?
Among 90's movies, Fight Club finds itself in just about anybody's top 10-15. In a stacked era of films, Fight Club stands out because of its uniqueness. Although it was only nominated for one Oscar, most agree the film is worthy of all sorts of merit. With a high level cast of Ed Norton and Brad Pitt, Fight Club never misses for a second, putting it in the "elite" category.
